YEREVAN. – The need to change the government in Armenia is in the air, ex-minister Vartan Oskanian said during the first congress of hanyan-Raffi-Oskanian alliance.

The politician argues that a real democratic country can be created in a short period of time.

“My work has proved that the position and money do not matter for me, the same is about my colleagues Seyran Ohanyan and Raffi Hovannisyan. I was the author of ‘complementary’ policy that has been serving Armenia’s interests for decades. The right of Nagorno Karabakh people to self-determination was enshrined,” Oskanian said, adding that during these years Armenia managed to build Iran-Armenia pipeline contrary to sanctions.

Ohanian, former foreign minister of Armenia who was in office during Robert Kocharyan’s presidency, is running for the parliament as one of the leaders of Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian alliance.
