YEREVAN. – The matter of ceding power in Armenia depends on the forthcoming parliamentary election.

Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Sukias Avetisyan stated the aforementioned, on Wednesday.

“If the voter chooses another political force, we will relinquish power,” said Avetisyan. “But if the people again give mandate to the Republican Party of Armenia, we will continue to stay in top power.”

Separately, the MP noted that putting businessmen on the RPA election list is something normal.

“The society consists of different strata, and we are obligated to include them in our list,” added Sukias Avetisyan. “We don’t want to disregard the representative of any stratum. There needs to be a lot of businessmen in this country, so that the social situation improves.”
