YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Free Democrats Party Chairman, MP Khachatur Kokobelyan, on Wednesday hosted the head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) observation mission, Ambassador Jan Petersen; and the political analyst of this mission, Daniela Diaconu.

The interlocutors discussed the National Assembly elections to be conducted in the country on April 2, and the respective election campaign.

They underscored the holding of free and transparent elections, and stressed the need for having observation missions and proxies at polling stations, so as to prevent election fraud and oversee the course of the voting.
