Two men targeted in the investigation into the brutal murder of Russian-Armenian Andrey Muradyan in Khabarovsk are wanted.

The local Armenian community representatives told Armenian News – NEWS.am that currently there are four suspects, one of whom is an Azeri, the other three being Russians.

The Azeri and one Russian have been arrested, the two others being wanted.

“The investigation established that the 25-year-old Armenian was kidnapped and suffocated, and then burnt down because of money. The incident, as stated earlier, did not occur on the ground of national hatred,” the community representatives said.

As reported earlier, it was found out that Muradyan, the son of a well-known businessman, was kidnapped by his friend from a garage consumer cooperative in the Railroad district. The criminals held him hostage for several days, demanding a 20 million ruble ransom for him. Later, fearing punishment, they killed him suffocating by a rope and then burnt his body.
