YEREVAN. - It is very important that control be established over the quality of supplied oil. 

Defense Minister of Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan, said the aforementioned at a briefing on Friday, referring to Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan’s statement on low quality fuel, which hindered the operation of military equipment during the April war.

“What the PM said is very timely and is related to the control over private supplied. As a Defense Minister, I attach great importance to this approach. Properly controlling the procured fuel, the Defense Army always relies on the supplies handed over to suppliers as a state reserve. The army may need them in case of emergency,” the Minister said.
