YEREVAN. - The proportional list of Congress-People's Party of Armenia (PPA) mostly includes cultural and art figures, as well as scientists.

Secretary of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) faction, Aram Manukyan, told the aforementioned to journalists on Sunday, who comes fifth in the proportional list of the alliance.

In his words, the largest point in the alliance program is education and science. The reforms will become more productive if peace is established in the country, Manukyan added.

"The basis of our country is education, which is itself based on school education. Currently our schools are loaded by 40 percent, whereas the number of our schools is reducing each year. The parents should themselves decide which school to give their children to, while applicants should themselves choose their university based on their knowledge. Schools and universities should be devoid of politicization," Manukyan said.
