YEREVAN. – Consumer prices in Armenia fell by 0.9 percent in February, said Gurgen Martirosyan, head of the Consumer Prices’ Division at the National Statistical Service, at a press conference on Tuesday. 

Accordingly, food prices in the country dropped by 1.1 percent, the price of non-food products decreased by 0.9 percent, and the cost of services fell by 0.7 percent.

The recent 2.8-percent reduction in electricity prices, and the 2.3-percent decrease in the natural gas prices had a particular impact on the aforesaid phenomenon.
