German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged refugees to respect laws and values of Germany, the head of government told Syrian journalist, RIA Novosti reported.

Merkel noted that they expected refugees who arrived in Germany in search of safety to  respect  values of Germany. The Chancellor added that they could say, if something was unclear, but they needed to respect and  adhere to it.

According to Merkel, Germans should also be open adding that they know very little about Iraq or about the African countries. We should perceive it as an opportunity to learn more.
