The Armenian man, who tried to plow his car into people outside a mosque in Paris, suffers from schizophrenia.

The 43-year-old man is currently at a psychiatric hospital, according to Europe.fr. 

He was hospitalized twice before in 2006 and 2007, respectively, and diagnosed with schizophrenia. 

The man is currently under medical supervision.

In addition, it was found out that he is unemployed and has a certificate of disability.

Even though physicians are trying to ascertain the motives for his aforesaid action, they have not found any articulate and relevant answers yet.

As reported earlier, this Armenian man tried to plow his car into people outside a Paris mosque on June 29, but he rammed the vehicle into barriers designed to protect worshippers.
