YEREVAN. – A citizen of Angola has been caught in a second attempt to illegally crossing Armenia-Turkey border, Russian federal security service said.

The man who was speaking English and asking questions was noticed in the nearby village. The locals thought his presence was suspicious and contacted the border department of the Russian federal security service that is in charge of protecting Armenia-Turkey border. The Armenian authorities have been informed as well.

Dongala Bob Joa had a passport and a certificate of having refugee status in France as well as certificate of being released from jail in the Republic of Armenia. He was serving his sentence for illegally crossing Armenia-Turkey border. Following his release, the man bought a ticket for Yerevan-Paris flight. Due to the lack of necessary document he failed to cross the border legally.

The Armenian aiuthorities decided to hand him over to the French embassy.
