First Lady of the United States Melania Trump told where she really wanted to celebrate Christmas. Surprisingly, this is by no means Washington, writes the Washington Examiner.
During a meeting with young patients at the Children's National Hospital in Washington Melania Trump said, that she would like to spend the holidays with her family on an uninhabited tropical island. In reality, the family of the US President will enjoy a festive dinner before going to Mass on Christmas Eve.
When asked what gift she would like to receive from Santa Claus, the First Lady replied: “Peace in the whole world, health, love and kindness.”
Melania Trump also read some excerpts from the Polar Express, which is a special book for her.
The tradition of visiting children's hospital on the eve of Christmas was introduced 60 years ago by the first lady Bess Truman.
