YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Thursday received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar Henry Rabary-Njaka.

Karen Karapetyan noted with satisfaction that the political dialogue between the two countries has recently intensified on various international platforms, especially in the International Organization of La Francophonie, and this trend should spread into trade and economic sphere.

In this context, he stressed the importance of the participation of Madagascar entrepreneurs' in the business forum organized within the framework of the Francophonie summit of the which will be held in Yerevan on October 11-12.

The Prime Minister noted that there is a favorable economic situation for investment in Armenia, and there are good opportunities for entering the markets of third countries.

Foreign Minister underscored Madagascar's contribution to organization of the summit in Armenia. The sides will discuss the possibilities for deepening economic of ties within the framework of the visit of the President of Madagascar to Armenia, he added.

Henry Rabary-Njaka offered  to consider his country as a platform for entering other African markets.

Karen Karapetyan expressed readiness to work towards development of cooperation between the two countries.
