Armenian President Armen Sarkissian sent on Sunday a congratulatory message to the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin on his birthday, Armenian President’s press service reported.

Armenia highly appreciates Russian leader’s personal significant contribution to the strengthening of allied relations between Armenia and Russia, based on the centuries-old fraternal ties of the two countries, Sarkissian said.

“Witnessing interstate cooperation both in a bilateral format and in the further deepening of relations between the countries within integration and internation associations, out joint efforts will continue to strengthen allied cooperation in the interests of Armenia and Russia,” he said.

He wished the President sound health and prosperity.
