Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday introduced the newly appointed Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyam to the ministry staff.

The PM noted that the new minister shall be considered the number-one person in charge of implementing the policy of making Armenia a technological country.

“Our task is clearly formulated: turning the Republic of Armenia from an agrarian-mining-bet making country into a country that has a high-tech industry, [into] an industrial country,” Pashinyan said, in particular. “Transport in Armenia also shall be technological.”

“The people’s triumph in Armenia is irreversible,” he added.

In his words, according to recent international surveys, the recent revolution in Armenia has more than 92-percent support.

“No one and nothing will stop us on the road to making Armenia truly free and joyous,” the PM said, above all.

Nikol Pashinyan stressed that to achieve the aforesaid, they need to bring together the potential of the entire Armenian nation.

“[And the respective] priority should be given to professionalism,” he concluded, in particular.
