YEREVAN. – The issue of arms race is on Armenia’s agenda.

Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), stated the abovementioned at Wednesday’s press briefing.

“Armenia urges partners to refrain from actions that contribute to arms race and instability in the region,” she added.

As for the information on Azerbaijan’s purchasing of helicopters from the US, the MFA spokesperson said as follows: “They [US] assured us that they are civilian helicopters and can’t be used for military purposes.”
