YEREVAN. – Government’s expenditure on education will increase by 12 percent in the 2019 budget.
However, according to the forecasts, GDP growth will be higher, and the expenditure on education will be reduced by 0.09 percent, Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan said.
According to him, it was expected that 2.17% of GDP would be used for education in the 2018 budget, but for next year education expenditures stands at 2.08 percent.
