It has been found out that a man was burned alive in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, back in 2013.
The Investigative Committee is preparing a report on the death of Vardenis town resident N. Y., 48, on February 8, 2013. On that day, his burnt corpse was taken to Vardenis hospital, according to shamshyan.com.
On March 2, police received information that, from mid-December 2012 to February 7, 2013, N. Y., together with fellow town resident S. S. and Verin Shorzha village dweller A. N., had brought gold ore to N. Y.’s house, from a company’s gold mine in Gegharkunik Province.
On February 7, 2013 N. Y. had again gone to this gold mine where, however, an argument had begun with S. S. As a result, according to the information obtained, S. S. had poured gasoline on N. Y., set him on fire, and he had died of the burns he had sustained.
As per the source, on the next day—and to cover up this incident, S. S. had driven a car and parked it in Vardenis town, and burnt sportswear to pretend that N. Y. had poured gasoline into the gas tank of the car, but during which a fire had started in the car and N. Y. had become a victim of an unfortunate incident.
The exhumation of N. Y.’s body may be ordered.
