On 4 March, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, paid a visit to educational institutions and research centers in the capital of Leuven of the Flemish Brabant, reported the government’s press service to NEWS.am.
The visit ended with the signing of Memoranda of Mutual Understanding on the development of bilateral partnerships in the high and innovative technologies sector.
First, a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding was signed between Armenia’s Ministry of Education and Science and the Foreign Affairs Department of Flanders in the presence of Armenia’s Prime Minister. The document was signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Belgium Tatul Margaryan and Secretary-General of Flemish Foreign Affairs Freddy Evans.
Another Memorandum of Mutual Understanding was signed between the IMEC and the Enterprise Incubator Foundation. The document was signed by Executive Vice-President of the IMEC Ludo Deferm and Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation Bagrat Yengibaryan.
According to the memoranda, the parties will cooperate to exchange experience in high technologies and innovations, implement joint educational programs and organize research projects.
