The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided by judge Aida Davtyan, heard the case of second President Robert Kocharyan’s son Sedrak Kocharyan against Director of the National Security Service (NSS) Artur Vanesyan.

The presiding judge informed that the representatives of the defendant presented written evidence to the court.

The court satisfied the petition and appointed the next hearing on April 23.

Sedrak Kocharyan, the son of Armenia's second President Robert Kocharyan, demands from Arthur Vannacean, NSS Director, to publicly deny information containing slanderous information.

This refers to the statement made by Vanesyan and SIS Head Sasun Khachatryan, who said that "Kocharyan used a 6 million dollar bribe to take ownership of the “Congress” hotel."

According to the plaintiff, statements by Arthur Vanketsyan, Director of the National Security Service, referring to Kocharyan's family do not correspond to the reality and discredit Sedrak Kocharyan's honor and dignity.
