Three people have been charged with drug smuggling in Armenia, Armenian Investigative Committee's press service reported.

A resident of Armenian Hrazdan town, born in 1984 received on March 24 hemps from a 63-year-old resident of Armenia's Gavar city. Some part of drugs was given to another resident of Hrazdan.

The preliminary investigation also revealed that from the beginning of January to the March 26, the 34-year-old man received hemps for nearly 15 times.

A criminal case has been launched as a result of the incident.

Within the investigation, searches were carried out during which cannabis plants were found and confiscated.
