Trade negotiations between the US and China made “good headway” last week, said White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow, speaking to reporters at an event organized by the Christian Science Monitor, Reuters reported.
According to him, as a result of negotiations last week, China had recognized problems of intellectual property theft, forced transfer of technology from U.S. companies doing business in China, cyber hacking, tariffs and non-tariff barriers for commodity trading for the first time during the talks that the United States has raised for years.
US President Donald Trump last year imposed tariffs on Chinese imports totaling $ 250 billion in an attempt to force China to change its approach to doing business with the rest of the world and make the Chinese economy more open to American companies.
