On 5 April, President Armen Sarkissian will leave for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on a working visit, as reported the news service of the President of the Republic of Armenia.

From 5-7 April, Amman will host the meeting of the World Economic Forum devoted to the Middle East and North Africa to which Armen Sarkissian is invited as a speaker.

The meeting of the World Economic Forum is organized with the support and under the high patronage of King Abdallah II bin Al-Hussein and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah. It will be attended by more than 100 leaders representing the state, business and civil circles of different countries who will talk about energy security, use of clean and renewable energy sources, cyber security and several other issues.

The head of state will speak during the discussion titled “New Energy for the Middle East” and will also meet with founding Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, well-known economist Klaus Schwab.

During the visit to Jordan, President Sarkissian will have meetings with the country’s top leadership, as well as representatives of the business circle and the local Armenian community.
