His father is former Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Melkonyan.

By another order of Osipyan, head of the Nor Hachn police station has been dismissed from office and is now in the personnel reserve of the Police.

By another order, Artak Mkrtchyan has been appointed head of the Nor Hachn police station.
