The court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan, chaired by Judge Arman Hovhannisyan satisfied Friday the complaint of lawyers of Armenia ex-President’s son Sedrak Kocharyan, Sedrak Kocharyan’s attorneys reported.

On February 19, 2019, the National Security Service issued a report on the case against Sedrak Kocharyan. It stated that cases of non-payment of taxes on a large scale, the laundering of illegally obtained funds were revealed, and Sedrak Kocharyan, is directly connected with this.

Sedrak Kocharyan’s lawyers considered that such a formulation violates Sedrak Kocharyan’s presumption of innocence.
