Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov has instructed army to be ready for combat operations at any time, TASS reported referring to MOD report on a service meeting at the Central Command Post of the republic’s armed forces.

According to report, all the exercises, conducted according to the plan, are aimed at conducting large-scale offensive operations.

The Defense Minister set before the relevant officials the tasks to increase the intensity of the drills conducted according to the combat training plan.

According to the press service, the meeting was attended by the deputy ministers of defense, the commanders of troops, and the heads of the main directorates, departments and services of the ministry.
