Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri intends to announce his resignation Tuesday from the post of head of the coalition cabinet, Reuters reported. 

“A second official source also told Reuters earlier the premier is moving toward resigning,” the source noted.

Protests have swept Lebanon for nearly two weeks, demanding the government resigns amid anger at political leaders accused of corruption.
