Scotland Yard has announced the name of the suspect in the attack at London Bridge. Earlier, he had been in jail for eight years for committing a terrorist crime, The Guardian reports.
The suspect is Usman Khan, 28, who was released from prison early in December 2018.
He was found guilty of a crime committed in 2012, including planning terrorist activities and raising funds. He was planning to open a terrorist training center in Kashmir.
At that time, the judge had warned that Khan could pose a danger to the public in the future, too.
