YEREVAN. - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met on Tuesday with delegation of the IMF Armenian office headed by chief economist Veronica Bacalu to discuss the main directions of Armenia’s economy policy.

The sides hailed positive results of IMF-Armenia cooperation and discussed implementation of three-year program under the Extended Fund (EFF) and Extended Credit facilities.

IMF resident representative Guillermo Tolosa was also present at the meeting, government’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The sides discussed monetary-credit policy, inflation problems, as well as prospects for economic development.

The IMF representatives reiterated their readiness to assist the Armenian government with implementation of different programs.
