Tehran has reached a sufficient technical level to enrich uranium to any level in percentage term, Reuters reported referring to the deputy head of Iran's nuclear agency.

"At the moment, if (Iranian authorities) make the decision, the Atomic Energy Organisation, as the executor, will be able to enrich uranium at any percentage," Ali Asghar Zarean said.

The future of the nuclear deal has been under question since the US unilaterally withdrawal on May 8, 2018 and Washington imposed sanctions against Tehran in exports field. According to Tehran, the participants, primarily Europeans, do not fully adhere to their obligations in the economic part of the deal, so the deal in its current form does not make sense. Iran began a phased suspension of its obligations under the Iranian deal, and in early January announced the completion of this process.
