YEREVAN. - Traveling by Yerevan subway for 15-20 minutes poses a threat to human health (noise reaches 75 decibels at Yerevan subway), ecologist Tamara Galstyan told reporters on Saturday, speaking of negative impact of noise.
“For example, subway is working on rubber wheels or bags in Canada, whereas Yerevan subway is operating on iron wheels and rails. Therefore, noise reaches a dangerous degree both in the carriage and tunnel,” she said.
