The lawyer of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, Hovhannes Khudoyan, has no doubt that the Court of Appeal will satisfy the complaint of the prosecutor’s office.
As reported eariler, the prosecutor's office filed an appeal against the decision of the court of first instance to provide protection of the materials of the case on the events of March 1, 2008. The prosecutor's office considers that publishing and even acquainting the lawyers could harm the interests of others. Today, the court rejected the petition of the lawyers to recuse the judge.
Speaking about the message voiced during the court session, exactly how the investigator formulated the collected materials, Khudoyan noted that the investigator wrote that all the data substantiating the guilt were collected.
According to him, the actions of the investigator and the prosecutor deepen suspicions that important materials were not transferred to the defense.
As he noted, since they so persistently do not provide materials, an opinion is created that they do not want to publish something.
