YEREVAN. – A meeting of the majority My Step faction in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia was held this morning at the office of the ruling Civil Contract party.

Hovik Aghazaryan, a member of the faction, told us that as usual they gather before the NA sittings and discuss the issues of the NA sittings’ agenda.

The My Step faction intends to initiate a special sitting of the NA on February 6, the agenda of which is the controversial bill on amendments to the NA Rules of Procedure, whereby the authorities plan to deprive the Constitutional Court of the mandatory norm of approving the draft of the amendments before the constitutional amendments.
