Armenia’s ex-defense minister Seyran Ohanyan has congratulated young Armenians on St. Sarkis Day, the day of the Armenian saint patron of love and youth.

I cordially congratulate you all and wish that you live a beautiful life, love and be loved sincerely because Love is power and multiplies the best within the souls of human beings.

Today, the future of our country is in your hands, and you are trusted with the defense of our country’s borders. I am certain that this generation of Armenians born in the independent Armenia and with a triumphant army will be capable of giving an impulse to the reinforcement of our state and the welfare of the Armenian people and shaping new victories with new and daring ideas, knowledge and capabilities, with honesty and in an atmosphere of tolerance and confidence.”
