Chinese president Xi Jinping is confident that China can score a full victory in the fight against the coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, Xinhua agency reported.

He admitted that the situation remains serious, but added that as long as Chinese people “work together, ight bravely and overcome difficulties, we certainly can score a full victory in the fight against the epidemic”.

Xi Jinping  added that people of Hubei and Wuhan are heroic people who have never been crushed by any difficulty and danger in history. 

The death toll in coronavirus epidemic has risen to 908, among them two foreigners. The number of confirmed cases has reached 4100.
