YEREVAN. - The British delegation headed by Baroness Caroline Cox visited Armenian Genocide Memorial (Tsitsernakaberd) on Tuesday to pay a tribute to the Armenian Genocide victims.

Baroness Cox watered a firtree she planted at the Memory Alley in 2002, parliamentary press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“I am happy to visit Armenia with representatives both from the House of Lords and House of Commons, members of British-Armenian All Party Parliamentary Group,” Baroness Cox said.

Lord Lyndon Harrison said parliamentary group spares no effort to inform people about Armenian Genocide. He said they are trying to urge the UK government to recognize the Armenian Genocide if possible.
