A major and tragic road accident took place Sunday in Armavir Province of Armenia.

At around 9:30pm, a car went off the road in the administrative area of Aghavnatun village, rolled several times, and ended up in a field.

Two people with injuries were taken to Vagharshapat town medical center, but one of them died on the way without regaining consciousness, shamshyan.com reported.

The other injured was then transferred from the Vagharshapat medical center to a hospital in Yerevan.
