Georgia detected 24 COVID-19 new cases in the past day.

According to the government’s StopCov official website, there are a total of 1,073 coronavirus cases.

Such a sharp difference is probably due to the large-scale testing conducted in Gardaban (Quemo Qartli region) where 24 infections and 1 death were recently recorded.

There are 5,692 people under quarantine and 275 people in hospitals.

Georgia reported the first coronavirus case on February 26.
