YEREVAN. – Two Armenian coalition parties, Republican Party and Prosperous Armenia, held a closed-door meeting in parliament to discuss President Sargsyan’s proposal on declaring amnesty.

Talking to journalists during the briefing, leader of Prosperous Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan said his party will not run for parliamentary elections on a mixed ticket with Republican Party.

Tsarukyan stressed that being the second party in the parliament Prosperous Armenia does not need to unite with any political force.

“Small parties should unite,” he added.

Leader of Prosperous Armenia stressed that the party signed coalition agreement for Serzh Sargsyan to feel confident during international talks.

Asked whether he will run for presidential election, Tsarukyan said he would inform about it later.
