YEREVAN. - President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski will pay a 2-day visit to Armenia in late July. At the moment, the date of the visit is being specified, Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynsky told a press conference on Monday.

Raczynsky stressed that the Polish President’s visit to the three regional states indicates the three countries are of equal significance for Poland. He noted that the visit aims at deepening cooperation with Armenia. The diplomat also emphasized the importance of the Polish President’s visit in the light of Poland’s Chairmanship in the Council of Europe in second half of 2011.

According to him, issues on EU-launched “Eastern Partnership” project, as well as international policy will be discussed during his visit.

Bronisław Komorowski will meet President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and Speaker of the  National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan.
