YEREVAN. – A group of employees of Armenia’s Hrazdan power plant and Orhus center plan to hold a protest action on Thursday near China’s embassy in Yerevan.

They will hand out a letter to the Ambassador telling about their concerns over exploitation of Hrazdan iron ore field. “We failed to contact Chinese company, share holder of Hrazdan iron ore field, and decided to express our concerns through the embassy,” the statement reads.

According to organizers, around 100 people will participate in the protest action.
