YEREVAN. – “Prosperous Armenia” Party really believes  that it will gain more votes and seats in the parliament if it runs up for upcoming parliamentary elections through a separate party list, political technologist Armen Badalyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. He commented on PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s statement that his party will not run for parliamentary elections on a mixed ticket with Republican Party.

“Probably the party sees this potential within it,” Badalyan noted.

He refuted the rumors that this decision may be the result of recent rumors that “Prosperous Armenia” intends to quit the coalition. “There is no point in leaving the coalition in terms of PAP’s strategy, as it will lose its administrative resource, create tension and will not be able to occupy such a position among the ranks of the opposition, as the Armenian National Congress,”  Badalyan concluded.
