YEREVAN. – The average monthly income per capita makes AMD 28,000 in Armenia, National Statistical Service said in a report.

About 55% accounts for employment, 9,5%-transfers, 20%-pension and benefits and other income.

It is noteworthy that income from transfers amounted to 10,6% in 2007.  The amount of transfers per citizen is about AMD 2,700 (about $ 7-8).
