YEREVAN. - Armenia’s state budget is carried out with deficit of AMD 2.4 billion ($6.5 million) instead of expected AMD 56.2 billion ($150 million), reads Armenia’s Ministry of Finance report.

Two factors cause for the improvement. First, for six months only AMD 13.6 billion ($37 million) was spent out of AMD 56.4 billion ($150 million). Second, there were no credits from external sources, forming AMD 22.9 billion ($60 million).

The 2011 state budget deficit is fully allocated from internal sources, reducing $45 million external debt.
