YEREVAN.- Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited on Wednesday Zvartnots airport to get familiar with construction works of new terminal.

He also participated in the opening of cold storage complex adjacent to cargo terminal.

Refrigeration facility is constructed to assist farmers, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The farmers will also have an opportunity to use goods stored in cold storage complex to obtain loans.

Armenia International Airports CJSC has invested $6 million in the project.

A new terminal will annually receive 3.5 million passengers. 78% of construction works are completed.
