YEREVAN. - Despite negative foreign economic impulses, closed borders, geopolitical and structural problems, our economy has a good chance to be among the advanced countries with high development rates, said Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
Speaking at the forth congress of Armenia’s Chamber of Commerce President Sargsyan stressed that business should keep up with rapidly developing global economy.
Sargsyan urged the organizations protecting rights of businessmen, in this case the Chamber of Commerce, to participate actively in the development of economic policy.
“Two-digit growth rates recorded in the past decade indicate that even between two world crises, a country that implements targeted economic policy and consistent policy towards economic growth could reach unprecedented results,” he said.
