Georgian authorities commented on the death of Abkhaz President Sergei Bagapsh, who passed away in a Moscow hospital on May 29.
According to Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze, the election would not be legitimate and therefore the political situation in the region will remain unchanged, Novosti-Georgia reports.
As reported earlier, President of Abkhazia Sergei Bagapsh, 62, died on May 29. He passed away in a Moscow hospital of complications following a lung surgery.
