YEREVAN. - No foreign currency transactions were made on NASDAQ OMX Armenia, Monday.

This Monday was the sixth case registered in May. The main reason is low demand for US dollar. Not a single bank offered more than 377 AMD which caused devaluation of US dollar.

It was conditioned by a great inflow of US dollar to cash currency market over the weekend. As a result exchange offices reduced exchange rate on Sunday.

On Monday exchange offices purchase dollar at the exchange rate of AMD 376/$1 against AMD 377/$1 on Saturday and sell at AMD 378/$1.
