YEREVAN. - Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will use new method of fundraising through visa credit cards, said Executive Director of the Fund Ara Vardanyan to journalists on May 31.

According to him, all fundraising methods implemented by the Fund are practiced worldwide by other charity organizations. The activities include SMS donations, transfers through post office, fundraising dinners and concerts.

The novelty is new method of special visa credit cards upon which an agreement has been reached with one of Armenian banks. The idea is to issue new type of cards, fund-cards, which will be used as a credit card and will facilitate the donation process.

The 20th meeting of Fund’s board of trustees chaired by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan took place in Yerevan on Tuesday.
