YEREVAN. - Suren Abrahamyan from Armenian National Congress and Artak Davtyan from Republican party prepare grounds for dialogue after Armenian National Congress Rally on May 31 said Suren Abrahamyan to a press conference on Thursday.

“The policies of both first and the incumbent Presidents can be defined in one phrase: a house cannot last without solidarity of the household. In this regard objectives of the Government and the Opposition should be the same,” said Artak Davtyan.

Suren Abrahamyan emphasized that changes observed in authorities’ posture are frequent, while ANC sticks to its initial standing.

“We do not aim at replacing current authorities, we stand for a legitimate Government apt to tackle grave external challenges facing our country” said Abrahamyan, adding that Armenian National Congress and the authorities revised their approaches, rather than assessments.

According to Opposition activist the most difficult point regarding the dialogue format is to sit face-to-face and start the process. Moreover, the Opposition will not impose its agenda on the authorities, giving them a chance to come up with their own agenda and make different suggestions. Neither of the delegates mentioned any details on the dialogue agenda.
