YEREVAN. – A 51-year-old woman was hospitalized after being run over in Yerevan on Thursday.

The driver of BMW Araik Galstyan, 24 ran over Varduhi Manukyan, 51 on Saryan street in Yerevan, photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The driver immediately transferred the injured to hospital.

When relatives of the injured woman arrived at hospital, they started to beat the driver. Doctors were forced to contact the police and the men were brought to police department.

An investigation is underway.
